Hi, my name is Kenzie Slingerland and
this is my 9th year in 4-H. This year I
hope to show a market steer and my
cow-calf pair. My steer is a Black Angus
named Buster and I’m hoping he’ll finish
around 1550 lbs. Outside of 4-H I enjoy
playing piano (and cello), baking, and
hanging out with my friends and cousins.

Hi, my name is Rhett Pittman and this is my 9th and final year in 4H. I have a Maine-Anjou cross steer named Gucci who I will hopefully be taking to the Calgary Stampede Steer Show in July, after 4H. Outside of 4H I enjoy playing baseball, basketball, golf, team roping, and training horses.

#30 MADISON SLINGERLAND

Hi, my name is Madison Slingerland, I’ve
been in 4-H for 5 years, and I am 13
years old. My steer this year is a
Shorthorn named Ronald and I hope he
will be finished at 1550lbs. When I am
not working with Ronald or doing my
record book, I enjoy riding horses,
hanging out with friends and working at
the auction market. This year I hope to
do better at showmanship.

#40 ZACHARY SLINGERLAND

Hi, my name is Zachary Slingerland. I am
14 years old, and this is my fifth year in
4-H, but my first year in the beef club.
This year, I have a black steer named
Dopey, who I am hoping will finish the
year at 1,550 lbs. I also have a carcass
project named Brutus—and a brute he is!
I look forward to showing my steer at our
Show ’n Sale. Aside from 4-H, I enjoy
hockey, baseball, and working with cows.
This year in 4-H, I have learned a lot,
specifically how to groom and clean my
steer, as well as how to halter break him.

#50 KIERA SLINGERLAND

Hi my name is Kiera Slingerland,this is
my 3rd year in 4-H and I am 11years old.
My steers’ name is Floyd. Floyd is a
speckle park who is very friendly and will
hopefully finish at 1250lbs. Outside of 4-
H I enjoy riding, hanging out with my
cousins and our other animals, painting,
and reading.

#60 ALAINA BROBBEL

Hi, my name is Alaina Brobbel . I’m 15
years old, and this is my first year in 4-H.
This year, I have a red angus steer
named Johnny. He should finish at
around 1,500 lbs. I have learned so much
in 4-H, including public speaking, and
how much volunteer work helps others
out and gives me learning opportunities
as well as learning so much about
livestock and judging. When I’m not busy
with 4-H, I enjoy riding my horse, hanging
out with my family and friends and
cooking.
As a first-year member, I am thankful for
all the help I have received this year and
look forward to possibly another year.

#70 ISABELLE RILKOFF

Hi, my name is Isabelle Rilkoff. I’m 12 years
old, and this is my first year in 4-H. I have a
black, white-faced Simmental Angus cross
steer named Noodles. I have been feeding
Noodles hay, barley, and 4-H ration, and he
should finish at around 1,550 lbs. As a first-year
member, I have learned a lot and took first
place in our divisional 4-H speeches. 4-H has
taught me the importance of keeping good
record books, public speaking, and
showmanship. Along with my steer, I also have
a heifer project that I look forward to becoming
a cow-calf project. When I am not busy with 4-
H, I enjoy ballet, basketball, badminton, and
soccer, as well as hanging out with friends.
I have learned so much and look forward to
learning more in the coming years. I am
thankful for all the help I have

#80 PAISLEY DANIELS

My name is Paisley Daniels and this is
my 7th year in 4-H. I am currently the
President of the club.
My steer’s name is Milo. Milo is a Black
Brockle and I am hoping he should finish
over 1400lbs.
I also have a carcass project, a heifer
project, and a 2 year old cow calf project
this year.
In my spare time, I enjoy working with my
animals, team penning, playing softball
and editing videos.

#90 KRISTA VAN STRAALEN

Hi, my name is Krista Van Straalen. I am 10
years old, and this is my first year in 4-H.
My steer, Zeke, is a very friendly Simmental
cross who should finish at around 1,650 lbs.
I love working with him and am looking
forward to my first Show & Sale! My first
year in 4-H has taught me a lot, especially
public speaking and completing my record
book.
Outside of 4-H, I enjoy spending time with
my friends, being outdoors, playing soccer,
and caring for my animals.

#100 AVA HOUWELING

Hi, my name is Ava Houweling. I am 16
years old, and this is my second year in
4-H. This year, I have a Red Angus cross
steer named Moroney, who should finish
at around 1,650 lbs. When I am not
working with my steer, I enjoy working
with my dad and hanging out with friends.
This year, I enjoyed learning how to clip
my steer.

#110 CALVIN SCHIPPER

Hello, my name is Calvin Schipper, and
this is my second year in 4-H. I’d like to
introduce my steer, Tuxedo. He’s a
Simmental–Angus cross, and I’m hoping
he’ll finish at around 1,500 pounds. I
really enjoy working with him like
haltering ,grooming and washing —it’s
been a lot of fun, even on the days when
he doesn’t feel like cooperating. Outside
of 4-H, I like riding bikes, swimming,
hanging out with my friends, and eating
ice cream.

Hi, my name is Aiden Houweling. I am 17
years old, and this is my eighth year in 4-
H. This year, I have a Red Angus cross
steer named Dougie, who should finish at
around 1,600 lbs. I also have a carcass
steer project. When I am not busy with
my 4-H projects, I enjoy working on my
truck and riding dirt bikes. This year, I
have learned a lot about being a senior in
4-H and have had the opportunity to
meet many new members from other
clubs.

#130 NATHAN CLARK

Hi, my name is Nathan Clark. I am 16
years old, and this is my seventh year in
4-H. This year, I have a Black Angus
cross steer named Mooshu, who should
finish at around 1,500 lbs. I am also in
another club this year, the Wild N Wooly
4-H Sheep Club, where I am working on
my market sheep named Fluffy. When I
am not busy with my 4-H projects, I enjoy
hanging out with friends, working out,
sleeping, and gaming. This year, I have
learned even more about properly caring
for 4-H livestock. 4-H has also taught me
how to keep better records, and I have
improved my record-keeping skills.

#140 LAWSON SLINGERLAND

Hi, my name is Lawson Slingerland. I am
13 and this is my fourth year in 4-H. This
year I’m doing a carcass steer and a
market steer named Berny.
Berny is a Hereford that weighs about
1420 lbs. He should weigh about 1720
lbs by show day.
Aside from 4-H, I enjoy playing XBOX w/
my siblings, hanging out with my cousins,
dirtbiking, and plinking.

#150 PARKER SLINGERLAND

Hi, my name is Parker Slingerland. I am
14 years old, and this is my first year in
4-H. I have a black steer named Clark,
who should finish at about 1,500 lbs.
Other than 4-H, I enjoy working at the
feedlot, driving my 1950 John Deere AR,
and spending time outside and reading.
I’ve enjoyed 4-H so far and have learned
a lot about working with my steer over
the last few months.

#160 ALEEAH STANDING

Hi, my name is Aleeah Standing. I am 17
years old, and this is my sixth year in 4-
H.

This year, I have a Charolais steer
named Alphie, who should finish at
around 1,650 lbs. When I am not busy
with my 4-H project, I enjoy hanging out
with friends or reading.
This year, I have learned even more
about properly caring for 4-H livestock.

#170 COLBY DANIELS

My name is Colby Daniels and this is my
third year in 4-H.
This year, I have a steer project named
Tony. Tony is a Red Angus X steer and
should finish around 1550lbs.
I also have a heifer project this year. Her
name is Scarlett and My 2 year old Cow
Martha has a bull calf named Martin.
In my spare time I like to help around the
farm, play baseball and ride my horse.

#180 MALACHI SLINGERLAND

Hi, my name is Malachi Slingerland. I am
14 and this is my 5th year in 4-H. This
year I have a market steer named
Tyrone, a heifer, a 2yr old pair, and a 3yr
old pair. Tyrone is a Black Angus and he
weighs about 1392 lbs. I expect him to
finish at 1550 lbs. Outside of 4-H I enjoy
dirt biking and working on the farm.

Hi, my name is Jonah Hass. This is my
first year in 4-H, and I’ve really enjoyed
working with my steer, Reggie, and
learning the skills it takes to raise and
care for him. I’m looking forward to the
Show & Sale and am hoping he will finish
around 1,550 lbs. Through 4-H, I’ve
learned valuable skills like patience,
responsibility, and hands on experience
with haltering, grooming, and handling
my steer.
Outside of 4-H, I enjoy spending time
with my friends and family, playing golf
and hockey, working on my truck, and
reading.

Hi, my name is Kassidy Slingerland. I am
11 years old and this is my second year
in 4-H. This year I’m doing a steer project
named Ned. He weighs 1522 pounds and
I expect him to weigh around 1629
pounds when I’m done.

Outside of 4-H I like hanging out with my
friends/cousins, riding horses, hanging
out with my mom and dad, and playing
with my dogs.

Hello! My name is Meagan Van Straalen.
I am 13 years old, and this is my third
year in 4-H. My calf, Calix, is a
Simmental cross who is expected to
finish at around 1,400 lbs. Outside of 4-
H, I enjoy hanging out with my cousins
and animals, being outdoors, and riding.
This year I have learned and hope to
learn more about raising and showing my
steer.

Hi, my name is Aliyah Schipper. I am 15
years old, and this is my second year in
4-H. I have a Simmental Angus cross
steer named Tony, and I’m hoping he will
finish the year at around 1,600 lbs.
Besides 4-H, I enjoy playing the piano
and hanging out with my friends. Through
4-H, I have learned public speaking skills,
how to groom my steer, how to walk and
set up my steer, and much more.

year I have a steer named Dennis and a
heifer named De-niece. Dennis is a
Angus/Simmentel cross who currently
weighs 1520 lbs and I expect him to
finish around 1600 lbs.

Outside of 4-H I enjoy playing piano,
riding horses and getting into trouble with
my cousins.

Hi, my name is Ezekiel Schipper. I am 16
years old, and this is my second year in
4-H. My steer’s name is Phil, and he
should finish at around 1,500 pounds.
Outside of 4-H, I enjoy working, hanging
out with friends, and riding my dirt bike.

Hi, my name is Dominic Rilkoff. I’m 10
years old, and this is my first year in 4-H.
This year, I have a Black Angus steer
named Thor. I have been feeding Thor
hay, barley, and 4-H ration, and he
should finish at around 1,500 lbs. I have
learned so much in 4-H, including public
speaking, completing record books, and
showing my steer in multiple shows.
Along with my steer, I am also doing a
heifer project and look forward to seeing
her calve. When I’m not busy with 4-H, I
enjoy playing football, basketball, and
soccer, as well as hanging out with
friends.

Hello! My name is Jenna-Lee Van Straalen. I’m 15 years old, and this is my fourth year in 4-H. My show steer, Brandy, is a Simmental cross and should finish at around 1,600 lbs. I also have a carcass steer named Earl, who is also a Simmental cross. Outside of 4-H, I enjoy riding and hanging out with friends.

My name is Haylie Motycka. I am 13 years old, and this is my first year in 4H. I am in grade 8 and I am in intermediate with 4H . My steer is a Black Angus and his name is Ribeye, but most of the time I call him by his nickname Ribby. He currently weighs 1340lbs and I’m hoping he’ll get to at least 1480lbs which was my goal for this year. I joined 4H to make new friends and explore new things. I have learned a lot in 4-H so far this year, including halter breaking my steer, public speaking, completing record books, and a judging competition. When I’m not with my steer I enjoy fishing, camping, baking, swimming, and hanging out with my friends or my siblings. I am looking forward to my first show and sale.

#300 Bristol Beckman

My name is Bristol Beckman and this is my second year in the Warner 4-H Beef Club. My calf, Gus, is a red Angus/Simmental cross steer with a big appetite and loves to be brushed. When I’m not with Gus, you can find me helping out on our family farm, checking cows out in the pasture, riding my horse, and looking forward to the busy and exciting season of calving!

Hi, my name is Macey Olsen, and this is my third year in 4-H. My Steer’s name is Bluey. Alongside 4-H I love to weld and work on my truck. I also really enjoyed being captain of my hockey Team and playing volleyball.

Hello! My name is Chloe Baron. This is my 5th year in 4H and I am in 9th Grade. This year I have both a market steer project and a cow calf project. My cow’s name is Dolly and my steer is Gerald. Some of my hobbies aside from working with my calves are softball, volleyball and riding my horses. Some of my favorite activities in 4H are the club tour and of course the show ‘n’ Sale.

#330 Maisie Beckman

Hi, my name is Maisie Beckman, and I’m excited to be in my first year in the Warner 4-H Beef Club. My calf’s name is Frankie, and he is a red Angus/Simmental cross steer. He has the softest fur and loves to eat! Outside of 4-H I enjoy playing hockey, checking on the cows out in the pasture, and helping out with chores around our farm.

#340 Blake McKenzie

Hi! My name is Blake McKenzie, and this is my calf, Piggy. He is a Black Angus steer and my market beef project this year. He is a nice, quiet boy who loves scratches so much that he licks his lips! He can also be a little dramatic and will let out a big beller when he’s not happy about something.

I am 9 years old, and this is my first year in 4-H. I am loving it so far! My interests include playing sports (especially hockey), riding my horse, Indy, helping during calving season, and leading Piggy around!

#350 Avery McKenzie

Hi! My name is Avery McKenzie. I am 11 years old, and this is my second year in 4-H. This year, I am raising a Black Angus market beef steer named Duke. Duke loves his grain and getting lots of scratches.

Aside from 4-H, I enjoy helping out on our family farm, riding my horse, and playing basketball and baseball.

My name is Max Duncan and this is my first year in the Warner 4H Beef Club. My steer’s name is Richard and I am enjoying learning all about 4H. When I am not doing 4H, I enjoy farming with my Dad, building Lego, and skiing with my family & friends.

My name is Blair Duncan and this is my second year in the Warner 4H Beef Club. My steer’s name is Biggie Smalls and I’ve been working hard to get him ready for this year’s show & sale. When I am not doing 4H I enjoy skiing, hanging out with my pony, and helping my Dad with cows.

Hi, my name is Brody Greeno. This is my first year in 4H. My Calf’s name is Socks, he got his name from the little white socks on his feet. My favorite thing about Socks is that he licks me when I am near him. Sock’s favorite spot to be scratched is on his cheek. I am looking forward to achievement day because I am excited to show off all of the hard work I’ve done. When I am not hanging out with Socks I like to help out with harvest in the Summer and ski in the Winter.

Hi, my name is Tate. This is my second year of 4-H. This year I named my 4-H steer Springer, after George Springer, who plays on the Toronto Blue Jays. He is a Hereford, Black angus cross. When I am not doing 4H I love playing baseball, camping and skiing. Springer is very lazy but is always first at the feed trough.

#400 Locklyn Doenz

Hi, my name is Locklyn Doenz. I am an intermediate member in our club and this is my 3rd year in 4-H. This year, I am the treasurer for our club. My calf's name is Stan, and he is a black Angus steer with a big appetite. When I am not working with Stan, I like riding horses, helping on the farm, camping, skiing, and curling. This year of 4-H has been a lot of fun, and I hope all of my years to come will be as fun as this one.
