My name is Kiera Slingerland and I am 10 years old. This is my second year in 4-H but my first year with a beef project.
My steer’s name is Al and he is a Red Angus. At the beginning I was a bit nervous with Al because he was so big, but I’ve gotten used to him so now I am not … unless he moves suddenly! I’m looking forward to seeing how he does at the Show and Sale.
In my spare time, I like to draw, hang out with our animals, and read.
