Hi, my name is Rylan Lippa and I am proud to present my market steer, RIP, at this year’s 4-H market steer sale in Taber. This is my 7th year in 4-H, and I have really enjoyed learning about responsibility, teamwork, and caring for livestock through the program. My projects include heifer, 2-year-old cow/calf pair, market steer, carcass steer and foods.
RIP is a Charolais/Red Angus cross steer that I have worked hard to feed, train, and care for throughout the project year. RIP is out of my very 1st cow my parents gave me to get my own herd started when I was 5 years old. I am very proud of how he has turned out and grateful for the support from my family, leaders, buyers, and community.
I would like to thank everyone for supporting the 4-H program and all of the members involved. To me, 4-H truly is a program where you learn to do by doing while making lasting memories and lifelong friends along the way. I wish all of my fellow 4-H members the best of luck with their projects and at the show and sale this year!
