Hi, I'm Jenna-Lee Van Straalen. I am 14 years old and this is my third year in 4-H.
This year I have a show steer and a carcass steer. My show steer is a Charolais named Stetson and my carcass is a Black Simmental named Brodie. So far, Stetson has been a great steer to work with and is usually calm.
Outside of 4-H, I enjoy horse riding and hanging out with friends.
Hi, my name is Joelle Slingerland, I am 14 and this is my second year in 4-H. I am the secretary of the club this year.
This year, I am working hard on my heifer, Gertie and my show steer, Churro.
Outside of 4-H, I enjoy playing piano, riding horses with my cousins, and taking my brother’s dirt bike for a rip.

Hi, my name is Kassidy Slingerland and I am 10 years old. This is my first year in 4-H.
My steer is named Banana Bread.
When I'm not doing 4-H, I spend my time riding horses and playing with Schleich horses.
Hi my name is Kendra Slingerland. I am 17 years old and this is my 8th year in 4-H.
My steer is an Angus/Simmental cross named Kilo, who should finish at around 1550lbs.
Besides 4-H, I enjoy riding horses, dog training, drawing, and playing music.

Hi, my name is Mackenzie Slingerland (but I prefer Kenzi), and this is my eighth year in 4-H.
My steer’s name is Richard, and he is a Red Angus. Richard has been quite calm so far this year and I am really looking forward to another show and sale.
Outside of 4-H I enjoy playing piano, hanging out with friends, dealing with cows, and reading.

My steer’s name is Al and he is a Red Angus. At the beginning I was a bit nervous with Al because he was so big, but I’ve gotten used to him so now I am not … unless he moves suddenly! I’m looking forward to seeing how he does at the Show and Sale.

This year I have a black angus steer named Diesel, who should finish off at around 1650 lbs. I also have a carcass steer project.
In my spare time, I like to work, hunt, and ride dirt bikes. I also like working with cattle, especially Black Angus, which is why is joined 4-H.
