When Pre-Bidding is in place, bidders have the ability to bid within a timed-environment prior to the commencement of the live sale.
During the pre-bid portion, you can place an active bid (real time bidding that advances one click at a time) or you can place a max bid and let the CLIX online bidding platform hold your bid through the live portion of the sale.
When time runs out, the auction does not end. Pre-bidding closes, but if you are the leading bid your offer continues into the live portion of the auction. If you have placed a max bid, your offer will advance until successful or surpassed.
