SUNNYSOMETHINROYAL

Javier is a 9 year old gelding, standing approx. 15hh. He has been used at brandings, moving and sorting cows and bulls. He has a quiet disposition and is good to be around other horses. Good to trailer and stands good for farrier. His one quirk is he can be cinchy with time off. Once he is warmed up he's good to go. With that being said  and experienced rider is recommended.

ARROW

Arrow is a big stout paint 15 yr old gelding. He’s approx 15.2 hh. Good for the farrier, easy to catch and load. Arrow has been packed and rode in the mountains and pasture. Can also be driven double.

BEAUTY

Beauty is a black  4 year old grade mare with 30 days with a professional trainer. Beauty has good confirmation and good feet, good for farrier, good to catch and tie. Has had 1 foal abd was a good mom, easy to be around, good manners not a mean bone in her body. Good in herd, mid to low pecking order. Will make someone a good project. 

DHQ OAKWOOD LYNX

What a big strong girl this striking filly is turning out to be.  She is SOLID with the bone and foot she has inherited from her sire LSR Forrest and should have some good height passed down from her dam who is one of our bigger mares.  She goes back to Doc's Lynx and PC Bronsin on the bottom side which has crossed well on our LSR Forrest stallion over the years.  This filly should be an asset to any ranch or family program.  She will be able to drag a calf to the fire all day long and then go and play on the weekends. DQH COUL FRENCH MAID

This big leggy filly is another one of those crosses that seem to work every year.  I have heard back from many previous owners and they all say they are great minded and built right.  Her sire DQH Mia Rooster Two aka Jagger has been making a solid name for himself as the sire of well built good minded babies that do well in many directions.  He is a money earner himself before an injury at the trainers sent him to the breeding pasture, but his sons and daughters have picked up the gauntlet and carried on in his name.  A son was the 2024 MHSRA horse of the year and he has other sons and daughters excelling in the team roping and breakaway roping all across Canada and the States.  We are super proud of this young stallion and look forward to what he continues to produce.  This fillies dam is a daughter of Peppy San Sun Frost aka Cooper.  I have only been able to retain one daughter so far as his foals are highly sought after.  They are excelling in both the barrel racing and team roping pens as well as solid ranch and family mounts.  We think this filly is set to follow in her siblings footsteps.  She is growing up very nicely and should be a great addition to anyone no matter what direction you take her.   All of our Prospects will be eligible to be paid into the Legends of the Prairie Rope and Barrel Horse Futurity    For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com  
 

DQH DRY DOC COWBOY

Here is a nice colt by our Peppy San Sun Frost stallion.  "Coopers" foals have excelled in both the barrel racing and roping arenas as well as great ranch and family mounts.  The Cooper foals have been highly sought after and we are always happy to hear how they are doing out in the world.  I just found out that a Cooper filly we sold here at our first  sale in 2010 is running barrels in the CCA   This colts dam is a half sister to that mare.  DQH My PeppyTwist crossed on LSR Forrest has produced a team roper/breakaway roping horse that has won 30 grand in the CCA as well, so I feel that this colt does carry the genetics to be a real contender no matter what way you take him.  For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com
