| Summary | Hi, my name is Zachary Slingerland. I am 14 years old, and this is my fifth year in 4-H, but my first year in the beef club. This year, I have a black steer named Dopey, who I am hoping will finish the year at 1,550 lbs. I also have a carcass project named Brutus—and a brute he is! I look forward to showing my steer at our Show ’n Sale. Aside from 4-H, I enjoy hockey, baseball, and working with cows. This year in 4-H, I have learned a lot, specifically how to groom and clean my steer, as well as how to halter break him. |
