Hi! My name is Avery McKenzie. I am 11 years old, and this is my second year in 4-H. This year, I am raising a Black Angus market beef steer named Duke. Duke loves his grain and getting lots of scratches.
Aside from 4-H, I enjoy helping out on our family farm, riding my horse, and playing basketball and baseball.
My name is Blair Duncan and this is my second year in the Warner 4H Beef Club. My steer’s name is Biggie Smalls and I’ve been working hard to get him ready for this year’s show & sale. When I am not doing 4H I enjoy skiing, hanging out with my pony, and helping my Dad with cows.
Hi! My name is Blake McKenzie, and this is my calf, Piggy. He is a Black Angus steer and my market beef project this year. He is a nice, quiet boy who loves scratches so much that he licks his lips! He can also be a little dramatic and will let out a big beller when he’s not happy about something.
I am 9 years old, and this is my first year in 4-H. I am loving it so far! My interests include playing sports (especially hockey), riding my horse, Indy, helping during calving season, and leading Piggy around!
My name is Bristol Beckman and this is my second year in the Warner 4-H Beef Club. My calf, Gus, is a red Angus/Simmental cross steer with a big appetite and loves to be brushed. When I’m not with Gus, you can find me helping out on our family farm, checking cows out in the pasture, riding my horse, and looking forward to the busy and exciting season of calving!
Hi, my name is Brody Greeno. This is my first year in 4H. My Calf’s name is Socks, he got his name from the little white socks on his feet. My favorite thing about Socks is that he licks me when I am near him. Sock’s favorite spot to be scratched is on his cheek. I am looking forward to achievement day because I am excited to show off all of the hard work I’ve done. When I am not hanging out with Socks I like to help out with harvest in the Summer and ski in the Winter.
Hello! My name is Chloe Baron. This is my 5th year in 4H and I am in 9th Grade. This year I have both a market steer project and a cow calf project. My cow’s name is Dolly and my steer is Gerald. Some of my hobbies aside from working with my calves are softball, volleyball and riding my horses. Some of my favorite activities in 4H are the club tour and of course the show ‘n’ Sale.
