Wow! This guy checks all the boxes and then some! Awesome bone and should have pretty good size when mature! Our son rides a 4 yr old full brother we call SMOKE . But our 3yr old grandson says “Moke MY horse!” His dam originated from LOWES QUARTER HORSES of Mississippi! That was a fun trip. Don’t let him slip by.

Lot 152-Kit-Grade Palomino Filly

 This BIG Shapey filly is by our Peppy San Sun Frost stallion and all I can say is WOW   This is exactly what I was hoping for when I bought this mare.  I purchased the dam of this mare because she traces back to Doc Debbie Bar who was THE most influential mare in my program   At one time 3/4 of my herd were either her daughters, granddaughters or great granddaughters.  Her legacy lives on in DQH Mia Rooster Two aka Jagger, our home grown stallion who has brought so much to our program.  Unfortunately for me she was a maiden mare and the person that I purchased her from had not yet submitted the DNA to AQHA  It has been determined that the breeder of this mare registered her under the wrong sire and even though DNA has confirmed that she is by the other stallion that this breeder stands she refuses to sign the papers in order to do the correction.  It is such a shame as this is a big beautiful mare who unfortunately is only breeding sound.    This filly is big, strong and correct and she should excel in both the rodeo arena and on the ranch. Lot 151DQH Majors Jewel
This fancy filly is by CHE No Major Chrome who is by the late Prescribed by Major and out of Revolving Maiden. (Einstein's Revolution, Boomernic, Custom Chrome.  He was unshown due to injury so denied the chance to follow in his sires footsteps.   Her dam is a daughter of the great stallion The Jewel Snipper who was inducted into the Sask. Horse Federation Hall of Fame in 2021.  He excelled in both the reining and roping pen.  This filly is Bold, Curious and made just right.  She has been a joy to visit in the pasture and she is sure to excel as someone's #1.  She is definitely one I would love to keep, but you know Too Many Horses. CHE No Major Chrome is enrolled in the Xibition Stallion Program so this filly is eligible for their program.

Lot 150-DQH Mia French Babe  This is another of those crosses that just work every year. This is a nice big filly that will be that great ranch/family horse that can go any direction you wish.   I have heard back from many previous owners and they all say they are great minded and built right.  Her sire DQH Mia Rooster Two aka Jagger has been making a solid name for himself as the sire of well built good minded babies that do well in many directions.  He is a money earner himself before an injury at the trainers sent him to the breeding pasture, but his sons and daughters have picked up the gauntlet and carried on in his name.  A son was the 2024 MHSRA horse of the year and he has other sons and daughters excelling in the team roping and breakaway roping all across Canada and the States.  We are super proud of this young stallion and look forward to what he continues to produce.  This fillies dam is a daughter of Peppy San Sun Frost aka Cooper.  I have only been able to retain one daughter so far as his foals are highly sought after.  They are excelling in both the barrel racing and team roping pens as well as solid ranch and family mounts.  We think this filly is set to follow in her siblings footsteps.  She is growing up very nicely and should be a great addition to anyone no matter what direction you take her.   All of our Prospects will be eligible to be paid into the Legends of the Prairie Rope and Barrel Horse Futurity    For More Info contact Donna at hm-204-529-2515 cell-204-245-0655 www.decossequarterhorses.com

Lot 149-DQH Solonos Lil Chex

 Take a look at the bone and size on this big buckskin Roan filly.  We bought this nice mare that came out to the Leptich Family Program and we are happy with the great foundation breeding she brings to our program.  This is the second year crossed on one of our stallions.  This is a very fancy LSR Forrest filly and the first time we have gotten a roan.  (Colour change paperwork and pictures have been sent to AQHA for colour correction when she is transferred to buyer)   LSR Forrest is our senior stallion and he passes his great mind, foot and bone to his foals.  This filly is no exception.  LSR Forrest has get competing in Pro Rodeo team roping, Three day Eventing, Reining, and all round family ranch horses.  The three daughters that I have retained are super broodmares and are a great cross on our Jr Stallion Jagger.  This filly has a quiet friendly nature and is built to do any job you can throw at her.  We are excited to see how she develops over the coming years.  Check out this fancy Buckskin Filly.  She carries the blood of both Frenchman's Guy and Profit Increase.  She should be able to fly around a barrel or chase down a calf in the roping arena. Here's a big fancy buckskin colt with all the bone and foot you could want in that using gelding he will grow up to be.  His sire LSR Forrest has been our senior stallion for the past 19 years.  He has produced foals that have gone on to excel in the roping pen as well as reining.  They have proven to be that all round horse most people are looking for.  This colt goes back to Doc's Lynx and PC Bronsin on the bottom side which has crossed well on our LSR Forrest stallion over the years.  This colt should be an asset to any ranch or family program.  He will be able to drag a calf to the fire all day long and then go and play on the weekends.
