Noah Graham is in his fourth year of 4-H and is participating in both the Sheep Project and the Foods Project. He enjoys the hands-on learning opportunities that 4-H provides, from caring for his sheep to developing new skills in the kitchen. Noah appreciates the chance to try new things and build responsibility through his projects. Outside of 4-H, he enjoys fishing and parkour.
Hi, my name is Paisley Balog and I am a member of the Milk River 4-H Multi Club. This is my 3rd year in 4-H and I have a steer, heifer, and 2 cow/calf pairs which keep me busy. My steer's name is Stanley and he is a black Simmental. I chose him because black cattle are the best! When I am not working with my cows, I like shooting hoops and gophers. Hi! My name is Payden Goldsmith. This is my 4th year as a member of the Milk River 4-H Multi Club. I have 3 projects this year – a market lamb named “Chop”; a prospect ewe lamb named “Princess Peach”; and a yearling ewe lamb named “Beans”. I will be showing all 3 of my projects and selling “Chop” at the Taber District 4-H Show & Sale. I really love the 4-H program and I’m super excited to start growing my flock.
Hi, my name is Rylan Lippa and I am proud to present my market steer, RIP, at this year’s 4-H market steer sale in Taber. This is my 7th year in 4-H, and I have really enjoyed learning about responsibility, teamwork, and caring for livestock through the program. My projects include heifer, 2-year-old cow/calf pair, market steer, carcass steer and foods.
RIP is a Charolais/Red Angus cross steer that I have worked hard to feed, train, and care for throughout the project year. RIP is out of my very 1st cow my parents gave me to get my own herd started when I was 5 years old. I am very proud of how he has turned out and grateful for the support from my family, leaders, buyers, and community.
My name is Senora Beliveau, I’m 11 years old and this is my 2nd year in 4-H. I am doing the market steer project, his name is Grizzly and he is a Red Angus. I am also doing the market lamb project, her name is Whiteout and she is a Dorper ewe.
I really enjoy 4-H because I am learning lots of new skills, like showing a steer project for the first time. I’m also excited to do my best to achieve my goal with my lamb. My goal is to do my best and to get 1st or 2nd place at the show and sale.
Skyler August is in his fourth year of 4-H and his first year as a full member. Before becoming a full member, he participated as a Cleaver and has enjoyed showing sheep for several years. This year is especially exciting because it is the first time he is eligible to sell his market lamb. Skyler is a member of both the Sheep Project and the Foods Project and loves the opportunity to learn new skills and work with his animals. Outside of 4-H, he enjoys parkour and basketball.
Hi my name is Taren McClenaghan. This is my 3rd year in 4-H. I’m part of the New Ewe Multi Club. My lamb this year is named Ares. I enjoy being in 4-H because I enjoy working with animals, watching them grow bigger and spending time on my Grandparents Farm. When I’m not working with my lamb I enjoy, sketching, reading and listening to podcasts.

My name is Trayton Farries and I am a member of the Milk River 4-H Multi Club. I have been in 4-H for 9 years and have done many projects such a outdoor adventure, chicken, foods, and market lamb. This is my second year raising a market steer. Ricky is a Charolais/ Simmental X and has been a great steer. I have enjoyed working with him this year and excited to show him at the upcoming show and sale!
Hi my name is Ainsley Schweitzer, my market lambs name is Lex Luther. I've shown sheep for as long as I can remember and immediately fell in love with it. I think showing and being a part of 4-H has made me grow so much as a person and I hope it can do the same for the younger kids in the club.
